I've had a few people ask me to write up my split-grade process, so here goes. I work at grade 00 first for the highlights, then grade 5 for the shadows. Starting exposure is based on a clip test. Happy to answer questions.

Great write-up. The clip test method is faster than I expected once you get used to it.

Do you use a minimum time for the grade 00 pass? I find that under about 12 seconds the results get unpredictable.

This is brilliant, thank you. What paper are you using? I find Ilford MGRC much more responsive to split-grade than FB.
