Light meter recommendations for handheld?

My phone app meter is fine but I want something I can trust for slide film. Sekonic vs the little Reveni clip-on meters — anyone tried both?

Reveni is brilliant for the size and sits on the hot shoe. For slide film though I'd want a proper Sekonic with spot metering — the latitude is too tight to guess.
